The applicant is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.131/2026 registered with Police Station, Gadge Nagar, Amravati for the offences punishable under Sections 74, 76, 78, 79, 115(2), 140(1), 351(3) and 296 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Heard the learned counsel for the applicant as well as the learned APP for the non-applicant/State, assisted by the learned counsel appointed for the victim. Perused the case diary.

Perusal of the case diary reveals that on 04.02.2026 when the victim was proceeding back to her home from the gym, the applicant came there and forceably took her in his car and misbehaved with her. It is also revealed that the applicant has not only abused her but also has done some

acts which are not acceptable to any lady. However, it appears that the applicant and the complainant were in a love relationship prior to the said incident. It is also to be considered that the complainant had accompanied the applicant on her own in his car without any fuss. The victim is major.

It appears that the applicant was protected by ad interim order dated 27.02.2026 with a direction to appear before the concerned police station and cooperate in the investigation. Accordingly, he appeared and cooperated with the investigating agency. Nothing is required to be seized from the applicant.

So far as the anxiety of the learned APP that the applicant is residing near the house of the victim and may threaten the victim is concerned, the applicant can be put to stringent conditions.

Considering the abovesaid facts, a case is made out for confirmation of the ad interim order dated 27.02.2026. Accordingly, the application is allowed. Ad interim order dated 27.02.2026 is hereby confirmed on the same terms and conditions.

The applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when directed by the investigating officer and shall cooperate in the investigation.

The applicant shall not enter the territorial jurisdiction of Police Station, Gadgenagar, Amravati, till filing of the charge-sheet.

With this, the application stands disposed of. 10.
