DATED :- 12.03.2026 The applicant seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 827/2025 registered with Police Station Umarkhed, District Yavatmal for the offences punishable under Sections 78(1)(i), 351(2), 351(3) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

The learned APP waives service of notice for non-applicant no. 1/State.

The Investigating Officer shall intimate the victim about filing of this application.

Heard the learned counsel for the applicant as well as learned APP for the State. I have gone through the First Information Report (FIR).

The contention of the learned counsel for the applicant is that there is no allegation of any sexual assault on the victim against the applicant. The only allegation against the applicant is of stalking the victim. This argument is supported by the contents of the FIR. Detailed reply of the prosecution along with the casediary is required for perusal, which is not available today. 6.

Considering the submission, a case is made out for grant of ad-interim protection to the applicant. Hence, the following order:- i) Pending the application, in the event of arrest, applicant- Ramdas Gajanan Dhumale be released on bail on furnishing a P.R. bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount in connection with Crime No. 827/2025 registered with Police Station Umarkhed, District Yavatmal for the offences punishable under Sections 78(1)(i), 351(2), 351(3) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act.

ii) The applicant shall appear before the concerned Police Station between 10:00 am to 12 noon on every Monday and Thursday for the next two weeks and shall co-operate in the investigation.
