Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicants.

Issue notice to the non-applicant/State, returnable on 30.03.2026.

Learned APP waives service of notice on behalf of the non-applicant/State.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 359/2025 registered with Police Station, Digras, Dist. Yavatmal for the offences punishable under Sections 74, 75, 333, 352, 351(2), 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

The contention is that the applicant was having an extra marital relationship with the complainant. He has no nexus with the crime. The applicant is falsely implicated in the crime due to personal grudge and previous enmity.

Considering the submissions and the fact that the

2 48 aba194.26.odt case-diary is not available with the Court for perusal at this juncture, a case is made out for grant of ad-interim protection to the applicant. Hence, the following Order : i) Pending the application, in the event of arrest of applicant- Shershing Madhukar Chavhan in connection with Crime No. 359/2025 registered with Police Station, Digras, Dist. Yavatmal for the offences punishable under Sections 74, 75, 333, 352, 351(2), 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, he shall be released on bail on furnishing a PR bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount.

ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday between 10.00 am and 12.00 noon for a period of two weeks and shall co-operate in the investigation. iii) The applicant shall not indulge in tampering with the prosecution evidence and shall not pressurize the prosecution witnesses in any manner.
