The applicant is apprehending her arrest in connection with Crime No.345/2026 registered with Police Station, Hinganghat, Tq. Hinganghat, District Wardha for the offences punishable under Sections 344, 340(2), 336(3), 336(2), 318(4), 318(2), 316(5) and 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

Issue notice to the non-applicant, returnable on 06.04.2026.

Shri Autkar, learned APP waives service of notice on behalf of the non-applicant and prays for time to file reply. 4.

The contention of the applicant is that the applicant was the Vice President of the Teachers' Cooperative Society. There are allegations that some amount is due towards her on account of embezzlement. A recovery certificate has been

issued by the Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies to the extent of 1,31,750/-. It is submitted that the said ₹ amount has been paid by the applicant on 19.03.2026. 5.

Considering the statement made by the learned counsel for the applicant that the amount of 1,31,750/- has ₹ already been deposited, coupled with the fact that detailed scrutiny of the case diary is necessary, which is not available at present and the reply of the State is also yet to be filed, in the meanwhile, the applicant, who is a lady, can be granted ad interim protection. Hence, the following order:

ORDER

(i) Pending the application, in the event of arrest in connection with Crime No.345/2026 registered with Police Station, Hinganghat, Tq. Hinganghat, District Wardha for the offences punishable under Sections 344, 340(2), 336(3), 336(2), 318(4), 318(2), 316(5) and 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the applicant - Vandana Suresh Muley (Ku. Vandana M. Ambekar) be released on bail on furnishing a PR bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on 26th and 30th March 2026 (Thursday and Monday) between 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and cooperate with the investigating authority.

(iii) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and shall not threaten the prosecution witnesses. (M.W. Chandwani, J.) Wagh
