The applicant is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.147/2026 registered with Police Station, Ural, District Akola for the offence punishable under Section 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.
The contention of the applicant is that the allegation against the Secretary (present applicant) and Sarpanch of the Gram Panchayat, Lohara is that they had misappropriated funds by showing purchase of multiple movable properties. The movable property that was purchased is lying with the concerned department for which it was purchased and an affidavit to that effect has been placed on record.

Issue notice to the non-applicant, returnable on 15.04.2026.

Considering the submissions and the nature of allegations, a detailed scrutiny of the case diary is necessary, which is not available at present. In the meanwhile, the applicant can be granted ad interim protection. Hence, the following order:
ORDER
(i) Pending the application, in the event of arrest in connection with Crime No.147/2026 registered with Police Station, Ural, District Akola for the offence punishable under Section 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, the applicant - Gajendra Madhukar Balapure be released on bail on furnishing a PR bond of 25,000/- with one solvent ₹ surety in the like amount.
(ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on Wednesday and Saturday between 10.00 am to 12.00 noon for the next two weeks and cooperate with the investigating authority.
(iii) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and shall not threaten the prosecution witnesses. (M.W. Chandwani, J.) Wagh
