The applicant is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 43/2026, registered with Police Station Hingna, Nagpur, for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Issue notice to the non-applicant, returnable on 8.4.2026. 4.

Learned APP waives notice on behalf of non-applicant. 5.

The contention is that the applicant was only assisting the main accused in selling the plots. It is submitted that the transaction is civil in nature. Since, the property was not mutated in the name of the accused, the transaction could not be done. 6.

According to the learned APP, accused No.1 is already arrested. All the transactions were done with M/s. Anusaya Infrastructures which was a proprietary concern in the name of

Considering the submissions, perusal of the case diary is necessary which is not available at this juncture. The State is also yet to file reply. Therefore, a case is made out for grant of ad interim relief. Hence, the following order is passed: i) Pending the application, in the event of arrest in connection with Crime No. 43/2026, registered with Police Station Hingna, Nagpur, for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, applicant Pratik Ashokrao Chopde be released on bail on furnishing a P.R. bond of Rs. 25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount. ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on every Friday and Tuesday, between 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., for two weeks.

iii) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence or threaten the prosecution witnesses and shall cooperate in the investigation.
