Issue notice to the non-applicant, returnable on 20.04.2026.

The learned APP waives service of notice for the non-applicant/State.

The applicant seeks anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 79/2026 registered with Police Station Kalamna, Nagpur for the offence punishable under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code.

The contention is that the applicant is the proprietor of Swastik Builders and Developers. Just because the applicant, after executing an agreement to sell with the complainant, sold the plot to some other RR Jaiswal

2 71-aba-249-26.odt person, the aforesaid offence came to be registered against the applicant. It is also contented that a civil dispute has been given criminal colour and a false complaint has been lodged against the applicant. To appreciate these submissions, scrutiny of the case-diary and reply of the State is required, which is not available today.

Considering the aspects mentioned above, a case is made out for grant of ad-interim relief to the applicant. Hence, the following order:- i) Pending the application, in the event of arrest, applicant- Jaikaran Manharan Gurupunch be released on bail on furnishing a P.R. bond of Rs.25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount in connection with Crime No. 79/2026 registered with Police Station Kalamna, Nagpur for the offence punishable under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code. ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station between 10:00 am to 12 noon on 10th, 13th and 15th of April, 2026 and shall co-operate in the investigation.
