The bus owned by the present applicant was intercepted and the engine number and chassis number of the said vehicle were found to be tampered.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is the bonafide purchaser of the vehicle in question. It is submitted that the applicant has purchased the vehicle in question through the agent, Amjad Ali. It is submitted that the applicant has paid an amount of Rs.13 lakhs for purchasing the Pramod S.Lakare 1/2

918-aba-403-2026.doc said vehicle. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is ready and willing to co-operate in the investigation.

The learned APP seeks time. At his request list on 04.03.2026.

Till the next date, the applicant shall not be arrested. 5.

In the meantime, the applicant shall attend the concerned police station on 23.02.2026 and 24.02.2026 between 11.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. and shall co-operate in the investigation.
