I have perused the order dated 23.02.2026 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Panvel, Dist. Raigad in Criminal Bail Application No. 99 of 2026, by which the learned Additional Sessions Judge has rejected the anticipatory bail application filed by the applicant.

The learned Additional Sessions Judge has rejected the application on the ground that the earlier application for Pramod S.Lakare 1/2

29-aba-540-2026.doc anticipatory bail application was withdrawn as the Court was not inclined to allow the same, and in absence of any change in circumstances, subsequent bail application cannot be entertained. 4.

In the facts and circumstances of the present case, the learned Sessions Court is directed to decide the application filed by the applicant on merit. The order passed by the Sessions Court dated 23.02.2026 is set aside and Criminal Bail Application No. 99 of 2026 is restored to the file of the Sessions Court. 5.

Till the decision of the application by the Sessions Court, the applicant shall not be arrested.
