The applicants have filed this application seeking to quash and set aside the Charge-sheet being RCC No.2440 of 2025 pending before the 5th Joint Civil Judge Senior Division, Amravati and the FIR No.476 of 2023 registered with Police Station Gadge Nagar, Amravati for the offence punishable under Section 498-A r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

On the complaint lodged by the complainant i.e. non applicant No.2 against all the family members, the crime is registered. During the pendency of this application, the matter is settled between the parties. As per the consent Kavita
2 / 2 40-apl-310-26(2) terms, the applicant No.1 has deposited Rs.30,00,000/- as one time settlement before the Family Court, Amravati. The Non applicant No.2 is present before the Court through V.C and her Advocate has identified her. She has stated that she has no objection to quash and set aside the Charge-sheet and the FIR registered against these applicants as the matter is settled between the parties.

In view of above, the Charge-sheet being RCC No.2440 of 2025 pending before the 5th Joint Civil Judge Senior Division, Amravati and the FIR No.476 of 2023 registered with Police Station Gadge Nagar, Amravati for the offence punishable under Section 498-A r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code are hereby quashed and set aside only subject to the applicants depositing Rs.40,000/-(rupees forty thousand only) with the Public Welfare Account maintained with Union Bank of India, High Court Branch, Civil Lines, Nagpur bearing Account No.129712010001014 and IFSC Code UBIN0812978 and producing the receipt thereof on record within three weeks.
4. The application is allowed in the above terms and disposed of.
