The applicants have filed this application for quashing of the First Information Report vide Crime No.59 of 2026 registered with Police Station Tahsil , Nagpur City for the offence punishable under Sections 296, 351(2), 324(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3.
It is alleged that the applicants have abused the family members of non-applicant No.2, on the basis of which the complaint came to be lodged. Today, the applicants and non-applicant No.2 are present before the Court. They submit that the dispute has been amicably settled. Nonapplicant No. 2, who is the first informant, states that he has Kavita
2 / 2 69-apl 577 of 2026 no grievance against the applicants and does not wish to prosecute the matter further. The applicants undertake that they shall not, hereafter, cause any inconvenience or abuse the family members of non-applicant No. 2.

In view of the aforesaid settlement, and considering the statement of the first informant, the First Information Report vide Crime No. 59 of 2026, registered with Police Station Tahsil, Nagpur City, for the offences punishable under Sections 296, 351(2), 324(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, is quashed and set aside, subject to the applicants depositing costs of Rs. 5,000/- each in the Public Welfare Account maintained with Union Bank of India, High Court Branch, Civil Lines, Nagpur (Account No. 129712010001014, IFSC Code UBIN0812978), and placing the receipts on record within a period of two weeks.
5. The application is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
