Common order In both these matters counter F.I.Rs. being F.I.R. No.0121/2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 118(1), 189(2), 191(2), 190 and 352 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS) and F.I.R. No.0120/2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 109(1), 118(2), 189(2), 189(4), 191(2), 191(3) and 190 of the BNS are registered for the same incident which occurred in village Widul of Umarkhed Taluka, District Yavatmal.

The communal riots occurred on 1.3.2025 and both the parties lodged F.I.Rs. against each other. Both the parties beat each other. Some of them have assaulted with deadly weapons and in one offence they pelted stones and the persons from both the parties got injured. The respected persons from said village sat together and decided to
apl940.2026.odt settle the matter between both the communities to keep peace in said village.

Today the complainants in both the matters are present before this Court. They have stated that the matters are settled and they would obey the instructions given by their elders and to keep the peace in village they would not again commit such acts and they have no objection to quash the F.I.Rs. and charge sheets against each other. 4.
The learned A.P.P. objected for quashing the F.I.Rs. and charge sheets as the deadly weapons are used in said offence. 5.
The learned Advocate for the applicants and the non-applicant in both the matters identified the complainants. As the complainants have no objection and to keep the peace in village they have settled the matters, the F.I.R. Nos.0121/2025 and 0120/2025 and charge sheet Nos.645/2025 and 965/2025, Police Station Umarkhed, Tah. Umarkhed, Distt. Yavatmal, are quashed and set aside. 6.
In both the matters the applicants to pay the costs of Rs.5,000/- each with the Public Welfare Account maintained with Union Bank of India, High Court Branch, Civil Lines, Nagpur bearing Account No.129712010001014 and IFSC Code UBIN0812978 and producing the receipt thereof on record within three weeks. 7.
The applications are allowed in the above terms and disposed of.
