The applicant has filed this application for quashing First Information Report (FIR) No. 995/2025 registered by non-applicant no. 1 against him for offence punishable under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

Non-applicant no. 2 is a married lady, having relations with this applicant. When the relations became sour, she has lodged the complaint and crime is registered. During pendency of this application, the matter is settled between the parties. Terms of settlement are filed on record.

Non-applicant no. 2 is present before the Court. She has stated that she has no grievance against the applicant as the matter is settled between them and she do not want to proceed further. As the non-applicant no. 2 do not want to proceed further and terms of settlement are

2 apl 1057.2026 filed on record, FIR No. No. 995/2025 registered by nonapplicant no. 1 against the applicant is quashed and set aside, subject to costs of Rs. 20,000/- to be paid by the applicant and non-applicant no. 2 separately to the Public Welfare Account maintained with Union Bank of India, High Court Branch, Civil Lines, Nagpur bearing Account No. 129712010001014 and IFSC Code UBIN0812978 and to produce the receipts thereof on record within two weeks.
