Interim Application No. 73/2026 filed in Criminal Appeal No. 1196/2018, seeks release of the Applicant on the ground that his mother is suffering from illness and he is the only member of the family who can take care of her.

We have apprehension whether an application for release on medical bail can be considered in such circumstances. 2.

On expressing that we are not inclined to entertain such application and the only remedy is available to the Applicant is to seek parole, the learned Counsel for the Applicant seeks leave to withdraw the application with liberty to prosecute such remedy which is available. 3.
