By way of the present Application, the Applicant seeks interim bail on medical ground of his mother. 2.

I have heard Ms. Sharma, learned counsel for the Applicant and Mr. Sonavane, learned APP representing the State.

Ms. Sharma submits that the Applicant is arrested on 6th February, 2026, on the statement of the co-accused. According to her, no recovery was made from the Applicant. She submits that during the pendency of the regular bail application, the mother is diagnosed with a psychotic disorder. She further submits that the Applicant's father-in-law, who was taking care of her mother also passed away. She submits that there is no one too look after his ailing mother. She further submits that the Applicant will require some time to make arrangements fro his mother. She has placed on record the medical documents pertaining to the health status of the Applicant's mother. She thus, prays that the Applicant be released on interim bail.

I have heard learned counsel for the respective parties and perused the record with their assistance. Considering the material on record and the submissions made by Ms. Sharma, I am inclined to enlarge the Applicant on interim bail for a period of two months on the following conditions and it is ordered as under:-

ORDER

i) The Applicant is directed to be released on interim bail on furnishing a Cash Bail in the sum of Rs.25,000/- for the period of two months from the date on which he is released;

ii) The Applicant is directed to keep the Superintendent of Mumbai Central Prison, Mumbai apprised of the details of his whereabouts including the contact number and any other information as required by the Investigating Officer / Jail authorities;

iii) The Applicant is enlarged on interim bail for a period of two months from the date on which he is released;

iii) The Applicant shall not tamper with evidence or attempt to influence or contact the complainant, witnesses or any person concerned with the case;

(P.A.) 916_IA_100_2026.doc iv) The Applicant shall surrender to the jail authorities concerned, at or before 03:00 pm. of the last day of second month from the date on which he is released.

Interim Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and is disposed of.
