By the present Interim Application, Petitioners/Applicants have sought for the following substantive reliefs :- "a.

That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to allow the Applicants to amend the Criminal Writ Petition by correcting the case number of the proceedings before the Trial Court by substituting "Regular Criminal Case No. 283/2022" with "Summary Criminal Case No. 283/2022" in paragraph No. 1 of the Petition;

That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to allow Applicants to amend the Criminal Writ Petition by substituting "R.C.C. No. 283/2022" with "S.C.C. No. 283/2022" in the cause title and paragraph Nos. 5 and 9 as well as in prayers (a) to (e) of the Petition."

Mr. Gautam Jain, learned Advocate for the Petitioners/Applicants submits that the amendment is restricted to the change of numbers of proceedings.

Mr. Sukanta Karmakar, learned A.P.P. for the State/Respondent and Mr. Narayan Bubna, learned Advocate for Respondent Nos. 2 & 3 do not object for grant of request made by Mr. Gautam Jain, learned Advocate for the Petitioners/Applicants in the prayer clauses (a) & (b).

In view of No Objection given by the Advocates for Respondents, Interim Application is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (a) & (b). Leave to amend is granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith and the amended Petition be placed on record, as also to be served on the learned Advocates for Respondents within a period of 3 days from today. 6.

Interim Application No. 177 of 2026 is disposed of. 7.

List Criminal Writ Petition No. 6202 of 2024 on 11th February 2026.
