Heard learned counsel for the Applicants and learned APP for the Respondent - State.

The Applicants have been sentenced to undergo imprisonment for a period of two months and to pay a fine amount of Rs.500/-. Learned counsel for the Applicants submits that the fine amount has already been deposited. It is further submitted that on an application preferred by the Applicants the learned Sessions Court, Sangli, by its order dated 13/04/2026 has suspended the substantive sentence till the appeal period.

Taking into consideration the grounds raised in the accompanying appeal filed by the Applicants, and the findings arrived at by the learned trial Court, I am inclined to pass the following order:
ORDER
I. The sentence imposed by the learned Sessions Judge, Sangli vide judgment dated 13/04/2026 in Criminal Sessions Trial No.20 of 2023 is hereby suspended.
II. The Applicants shall furnish the PR. Bond on the same terms and conditions as imposed by the learned Sessions Judge, Sangli vide order dated 13/04/2026.
