This is an application seeking extension of medical bail granted by this Court dated 11th November, 2025, a period of three months.

Ms. Ashwini Jadhav, learned advocate appearing for the applicant has pointed to a medical certificate indicating health status of the applicant. Suprisingly, the purpose for which medical bail was sought mainly to undergo

surgery for the treatment of chronic severe pancreatitis has not been conducted. It is pertinent note that, while seeking interim medical bail, the applicant has represented to this Court that the applicant has to undergo surgery at the 'P.D. Hinduja Hinduja National Hospital & Medical Research Center, Mumbai'.

Today, I am told that surgery has not been conducted, for the reason that the patient was found to have uncontrolled hypertension in the morning of the surgery. A certificate has been given to that effect by 'Apex Hospital, Mulund, Mumbai'. Thereafter, the applicant appears to now be admitted to 'Kusumesh Chanda Maternity Surgical Nursing Home', managed by 'V-Care Hospital and ICU, Kurla East, Mumbai-400024.

Ms. Ashwini Jadhav, has tendered the registration form of the applicant. It appears from the form that applicant is admitted to this new hospital only yesterday i.e. on 12th February, 2026.

Considering that, neither the surgery has taken

place for which the interim bail was granted nor any certificate or medical prescription or diagnosis certificate is placed on record from the 'P.D. Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Center, Mumbai, the present application is rejected. 6.

Applicant shall surrender before the Taloja Jail Authorities on the day after the order is uploaded, before 3:00 PM.
