By way of the present Application, the Applicant seeks modification of condition imposed by this Court, by order dated 17th February 2026, passed in Bail Application No.643 of 2026, whereby bail was granted directing her to execute PR Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or two local sureties in the like amount.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the Applicant is a lady with no criminal history behind her. She is unable to provide local sureties. He submits that the Applicant hails from Akola District and is resident of State of Maharashtra and hence there is no propriety in imposing the condition of furnishing local sureties from the jurisdiction of the Court where she is going to be tried.

Learned APP opposes the application.

The Applicant is a lady and for the last two months she is unable to provide local sureties. The Applicant is from State of Maharashtra. In such circumstances, sureties from the State of Maharashtra would suffice the purpose of the prosecution to ensure that the Applicant is available during the trial. 5.

Having regard to the said fact it is clarified that the Applicant be enlarged on bail on executing PR Bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount from the State of Maharashtra.

The Interim Application is partly allowed in the above terms and is disposed of.
