The Interim Application is taken out for suspension of sentence and release of the accused on bail during the pendency of the Appeal filed by him, raising a challenge to the Judgment of conviction and imposition of sentence by the Additional Sessions Judge, Nashik, in Sessions Case No. 113 of 2019.

The Appeal is ready for hearing, and when we indicated to the learned counsel that the Appeal itself can be heard, he stated that he would obtain instructions.

We are surprised to note this approach, as when the Court indicated that the Appeal itself can be heard, the counsel Rushikesh

Hence, while we dispose of the Interim Application, we direct the Appeal to be listed in the week commencing from 15.06.2026, and the counsel for the Appellant shall be ready for final hearing of the Appeal.
