By these two applications, applicants are seeking issuance and renewal of the pass-port.

It is contention of the learned counsel for the applicants that, in matter applicant has filed application for issuance of pass-port, but, passport Authority has asked no objection of this Court and requested to allow

Learned counsel for Respondent No. 2 strongly objected to allow the applications on the ground that if pass-port is renewed, applicant may abscond.

Learned counsel for pass-port authority submit that, applicants shall file proper application for renewal and issuance of the passport and pass-port authority will decide it on its own merit. 5.

I have heard all learned counsel .

Considering the submission of all learned counsel, I pass following order.

ORDER

i) Both Applications are allowed.

ii) The pass-port authority shall decide the pending application of Ms. Sunita Sharma for issuance of passport on its own merit and Applicant Madhavan Pillai shall file fresh application before the pass-port authority for renewal of pass-port iii) The pass-port authority shall decide the said application's on its own merit. The pass-port authority may consider issuance of pass-port for 10 years.
