This application is for extension of time for furnishing sureties pursuant to the order dated 28th April, 2025 passed in Bail Application No.520 of 2025.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the Applicant is released from jail on 20th March, 2026 and since there were 14 other FIRs registered against him, he could not arrange sureties in time. Learned counsel for the Applicant 1/2

11-ia1251-26.doc therefore, seeks extension of four weeks time for furnishing the sureties. Learned counsel for the Applicant does not press relaxation of any other condition at this stage. 3.

Learned APP opposed the application.

If it is the fact that there are 14 offences registered against the Applicant and that he is released from jail on 20th March, 2026 in spite of the order being passed by this Court on 28th April, 2025, this Court finds no justification for not extending the time for furnishing the sureties by four weeks. 5.

Hence the application stands partly allowed. The Applicant is granted four weeks time from today to furnish sureties as per the order dated 28th April, 2025 passed in Criminal Bail Application No.520 of 2025.
