By way of the present Interim Application, the Applicant seeks his temporary release on bail in connection with CR No.507 of 2025 dated 12th November, 2025, registered with Kashigaon Police Station, District Thane, for offence punishable under Section 351(2), 64(2)(m), 69, 77 and 89 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, to enable him to appear for Semester IV of LL.B (Three Years Course) which is scheduled to be held from 28.04.2026 to 06.05.2026.

Though learned APP opposed grant of temporary bail, on instructions, she confirms the fact that the examination is scheduled to be held from 28.04.2026 to 06.05.2026. 4.

Considering the fact that the Applicant is required to appear for examination and in case temporary bail is not granted, his entire academic year and consequently his career is at stake, this Court finds it appropriate to grant bail to the Applicant for a temporary period. It is clarified that the bail has not been granted on considering merits of the case and that this order shall not be extended on any ground whatsoever.

ORDER

i) The Interim Application stands allowed.

ii) In connection with CR No.507 of 2025 dated 12th November, 2025, registered with Kashigaon Police Station, the Applicant be released on temporary bail for the period from 27.04.2026 till 07.05.2026.

iii) The Applicant be released from jail for the period from 27.04.2026 till 07.05.2026, on furnishing P. R. Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court.

iv) The Applicant is directed to attend the concerned Police Station on each day during his release on temporary bail.

v) The Applicant shall surrender himself to the concerned Jail Authorities on 7th May, 2026.

vi) It is clarified that no extension of the period of temporary bail shall be granted.

Interim Application is allowed in the above terms and is disposed of.

All parties are directed to act on an authenticated copy of this order.
