This application is for modification of condition No.(i) of the order dated 30th January, 2026, whereby the Applicant was directed to furnish one or two local sureties in the amount of Rs.50,000/-.

Learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the Applicant is unable to procure local sureties and therefore though the bail is granted, he is not released from jail. He therefore, 1/2

10-ia1355-26.doc seeks modification of the said condition of removing the condition of local sureties.

Learned APP opposed the application by pointing out serious nature of crime under the N.D.P.S. Act so also the possibility of the Applicant fleeing from justice. 4.

Perusal of the order dated 30th January, 2026 passed by this Court in Bail Application No.3189 of 2024 indicates that in order to ensure that the Applicant is available during the course of trial, consciously the condition has been put forth for furnishing local sureties. This Court finds no reason or justification to modify the same. Hence the application stands dismissed. (R.M. JOSHI, J.) 2/2
