This Application is circulated pursuant to the praecipe dated 11.06.2026. Same is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. At the request of Mr. Jayant Bardeskar, learned Advocate for the Applicant, this Application was ordered to be placed on the "Production Board".

By the present Application, the Applicant has sought for the following relief in terms of prayer clause (a):-
This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to allow the Application and permit the present Applicant to amend Criminal Application No. 523 of 2026 by permitting the applicant to amend the grounds, prayer and annex the Charge-sheet.

Mrs. Rajeshree Newton, learned APP for the Respondent - State does not oppose the proposed amendment and for producing the chargesheet on record. She however, submits that the right of the Respondents to oppose the same on merits be reserved.

In view of the request made by Mr. Jayant Bardeskar, learned Advocate for the Applicant and the no objection given by Mrs. Rajeshree Newton, learned APP, this Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).

Mr. Jayant Bardeskar, learned Advocate for the Applicant, seeks leave to carry out amendment and produce the chargesheet on record within a period of 3 weeks from today. Time, as requested by Mr. Jayant Bardeskar, is granted. He submits that amended copy of the Application will be furnished to the office of
the learned APP within a period of 7 days thereafter. 6.
All the contentions of the Respondents on merits of the amendment are left open.

Interim Application No. 1850 of 2026 is allowed and disposed of.
