This Interim Application is circulated in view of the praecipe dated 15 June 2026, same is marked as "X" for identification. In view of urgency expressed by Ms. Dikshita Gupte, learned Advocate for the Applicant, this Interim Application was ordered to be listed on the production board.

Ms. Dikshita Gupte, learned Advocate for the Applicant, submits that the Applicant has lost his passport and as such, needs to apply for a fresh passport for his employment. She submits that the Applicant is required to join duty on 15 August 2026. She relies on the document at Annexure-D, Page No. 22 of the paperbook of the present Interim Application. She submits that the

(506) IA-1922.26.DOCX Applicant shall apply to the Trial Court (Sessions Court at Dindoshi, Mumbai) for an NOC to apply for a fresh passport within one week from today and requests that the Trial Court be directed to decide the Application within the stipulated time, in view of the urgency faced by the Applicant. She therefore seeks leave to withdraw this Interim Application to approach the Trial Court. 3.

Ms. Anuja Gotad, learned APP for the Respondent/State, submits that if the Applicant files an appropriate Application before the Trial Court, the prosecution would cooperate for its early disposal.

In view of the above, leave is granted to the Applicant to withdraw the present Interim Application, with liberty to file an appropriate Application before the Trial Court. If such Application is filed within one week from today, the same shall be considered by the Trial Court on its own merits, in accordance with law and expeditiously. Considering the urgency expressed by the Applicant, the Trial Court is requested to dispose of the said Application within two weeks from the first date of its listing. 5.

Ms. Dikshita Gupte, learned Advocate for the Applicant, states that the Applicant will not seek any adjournments. 6.

With the above observation, Interim Application No.1922 of 2026 is disposed of as withdrawn.
