1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Cheryl Desouza being daughter of deceased. Deceased namely Humberdo Desousa died intestate at Gujarat on 27.07.2002. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Petitioner has filed Affidavit dated 07.12.2025 for non-availability of identification proof of deceased which is already annexed to the petition. The same is accepted.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that parents of deceased predeceased the deceased. Widow of deceased since deceased the deceased. Son of deceased namely Daryl died leaving behind his widow, who died issue-less. Deceased is survived by one daughter and one daughter-in-law. Out of them daughter is petitioner herein and daughter-in-law has given her consents in favour of petitioner herein. Consent Affidavit is on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 12.02.2026 and Administration Bond dated 10.03.2026 are filed. Delay is explained and same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
