1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to both the deceased filed by petitioner namely Mahesh Gopaldas Saney being brother of deceased No. 1 and son of deceased No. 2. Deceased No. 1 namely Satish Gopaldas Saney died intestate at Mumbai on 22.01.1999. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Deceased No. 2 namely Meena Gopaldas Saney died intestate at Mumbai on 22.08.1997. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Petitioner has filed Affidavit dated 31.07.2025 for non-availability of identification proof of both the deceased which is already annexed to the petition. The same is accepted.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that deceased Nos. 1 and 2 were mother and son. Deceased No. 1 died as bachelor. Mother is deceased No. 2. Deceased Nos. 1 had two brothers and three sisters. Out of them one brother of deceased No.1 namely Suresh died leaving behind his widow and two daughters. Deceased No. 1 is survived by one brother, three sisters, one sister-in-law and two nieces. Out of them brother is petitioner herein and all other legal heirs have given their consents in favour of petitioner herein. Consent Affidavits are on record. Husband of deceased No. 2 predeceased the deceased. As per para No. 5 of the petition, deceased No. 2 is survived by one son, three daughters, one daughterin-law and two granddaughters. Out of them son of deceased No. 2 is petitioner herein and all other legal heirs have given their consents in favour of petitioner herein. Consent Affidavits are on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 23.02.2026 and Administration Bond dated 17.03.2026 are filed. Delay is explained and same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
