By an order dated 23 December, 2025, passed on a batch of petitions, the said petitions were disposed of. The petitioner has filed the Review Petition seeking review of the said order. According to the petitioner, pursuant to the directions issued by this Court, the petitioner approached the Mumbai Building Repair and Reconstruction Board(MBRRB), however, his grievance has not been addressed. This, in our view, constitutes an independent cause of action and cannot form the basis for maintaining a review petition in a order passed on the batch of Writ Petitions.

Accordingly, we are not inclined to entertain the present Review Petition. 20 April 2026

25.RPW5_2026.DOC The Review Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to pursue any remedy and/or enforce any legal right available to him in appropriate proceedings or before the appropriate authority of the MHADA/MBRRB. 3.

All contentions of the parties in that regard are expressly kept open. 4.

Review Petition is disposed of. No costs.
