By this Chamber Order, the Applicant seeks liberty to serve the citation upon Leena Sharad Gupta, married daughter of the deceased, by way of substituted service as per schedule annexed to the Chamber Order.

Perused the schedule. The Applicant applies for publication of citation in two newspapers viz. "Business Standard" in English Language and in "Mumbai Samachar" in vernacular language i.e. Gujarati, widely circulated in Mumbai. 3.

Perused the affidavit in support. The Applicant has stated in the affidavit that, the deceased left surviving as his only heirs being Indira Kiron Mehta, wife of the deceased and Salome Kiron Mehta, daughter of the deceased. It is further stated that, the citation sent for service upon Leena Sharad Gupta at her last known address could not be served upon her and the bailiff had report dated 28th November 2025 reported that, she left the premises 10 years ago. The Applicant, therefore, requested to permit her to publish the citation in two newspapers viz. "Business Standard" in English Language and in "Mumbai Samachar" in vernacular language i.e. Gujarati, widely circulated in Mumbai.

Heard. Ld. Advocate for the Applicant submits that, the deceased left surviving as his only heirs being Indira Kiron Mehta, wife of the deceased and Salome Kiron Mehta, daughter of the deceased. She further submits that, the citation sent for service upon Leena Sharad Gupta at her last known address could not be served upon her and the bailiff had report dated 28th November 2025 reported that, she left the premises 10 years ago. She further submits that, the bailiff of Sheriff of Bombay has filed an affidavit of service dated 11th December 2025. She further submits that, the Applicant be permitted to publish the citation in two newspapers viz. "Business Standard" in English Language and in "Mumbai Samachar" in vernacular language i.e. Gujarati, widely circulated in Mumbai. He, therefore, prays that, the Chamber Order be allowed. 5.

Perused para 9 of the Petition. For the reasons mentioned in the affidavit in support the Chamber Order is allowed. Applicant to publish the citation in two newspapers viz. "Business Standard" in English Language and in "Mumbai Samachar" in vernacular language i.e. Gujarati, widely circulated in Mumbai, by way of substituted service of citation upon Leena Sharad Gupta, married daughter of the deceased within four weeks from the date of uploading this Order. Applicant to file the affidavit of publication once the citation is published within two weeks thereafter. 6.
