By this Chamber Order the Applicant seeks permission to serve the citation upon (1) Prachi Dhananjay Temgire nee Prachi Dilip Lad, grandniece of the deceased, and (2) Purva Dilip Lad, grandniece of the deceased, by way of substituted service as per schedule annexed to the Chamber Order.

Perused the schedule. The Applicant applies for publication of citation in two newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Navshakti" in vernacular language i.e. Marathi, widely circulated in Thane and Pune. 3.

Perused the affidavit in support. The Applicant has stated in the affidavit that, the deceased died as bachelor and parents of the deceased predeceased the deceased and deceased had no sisters. It is further stated that, the deceased had one brother viz. Vasant Laxman Prabhoo who died on 29th June, 2000. It is further stated that, Vasant Laxman Prabhoo died leaving behind one son and one daughter. It is further stated that, the brothers' daughter Dipika Dilip Lad died on 17th July, 2016 leaving behind only two daughters viz. Prachi Dhananjay Temgire nee Prachi Dilip Lad and

Purva Dilip Lad and she had no sons. The Applicant, therefore, requested to permit him to publish the citation in two newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Navshakti" in vernacular language i.e. Marathi, widely circulated in Thane and Pune.

Heard. Ld. Advocate for the Applicant submits that, the deceased died as bachelor and parents of the deceased predeceased the deceased and deceased had no sisters. She further submits that, the deceased had one brother viz. Vasant Laxman Prabhoo who died on 29th June, 2000. It is further stated that, Vasant Laxman Prabhoo died leaving behind one son and one daughter. She further submits that, the brothers' daughter Dipika Dilip Lad died on 17th July, 2016 leaving behind only two daughters viz. Prachi Dhananjay Temgire nee Prachi Dilip Lad and Purva Dilip Lad and she had no sons. She further submits that, the citation sent for service upon (1) Prachi Dhananjay Temgire nee Prachi Dilip Lad, grandniece of the deceased, and (2) Purva Dilip Lad, grandniece of the deceased, through Sheriff of Bombay were returned with remark "incomplete address. She further submits that, bailiff of Sheriff of Bombay had also filed an affidavit of service dated 3rd October, 2025. She, therefore, prays that, the Chamber Order be allowed. 5.

Perused para 7 of the Petition. For the reasons mentioned in the affidavit in support the Chamber Order is allowed. Applicant to publish the citation in two newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Navshakti" in vernacular language i.e. Marathi, widely circulated in Mumbai, by way of substituted service of citation upon (1) Prachi Dhananjay Temgire nee Prachi Dilip Lad, grandniece of the deceased, and (2) Purva

Dilip Lad, grandniece of the deceased within four weeks from the date of uploading this Order. Applicant to file the affidavit of publication once the citation is published within two weeks thereafter.
