By this Chamber Order, the Applicant / Plaintiff seeks liberty to serve the Writ of Summons upon the following Defendants by way of substituted service as per the schedule annexed to the Chamber Order.

(1) Huseina Rashid Patrawala, Defendant No. 4(d)

(2) Asma Ishak Patrawala, Defendant No. 4(e)

(3) Yashmin, Defendant No. 4(f)

(4) Asifa, Defendant No. 4(g)

(5) Rashid Haroon Patrawala, Defendant No. 5(a)

(6) Aasiya Abdul Latif, Defendant No. 5(c)

(7) Aiesha Salemohamed Patrawala, Defendant No. 6(a)

(8) Rahil Salemohamed Patrawala, Defendant No. 6(b) 2.

Ld. Advocate for the Applicant submits that, the writ of summons sent for service upon the abovenamed Defendants was returned unserved. She further submits that, the Bailiff of Sheriff of Bombay has filed affidavit of service. She, therefore, prays that, the Chamber Order be allowed and the Plaintiff be permitted to serve

the Writ of Summons upon Defendants by way of substituted service i.e. to publish the Writ of Summons in two newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Inquilab" in vernacular language i.e. Urdu, widely circulated in Mumbai. 3.

Perused the Affidavit in support. For the reasons stated in the affidavit in support, the Chamber Order is allowed and the same is signed separately. Applicant is directed to publish the Writ of Summons as per the Schedule annexed to the Chamber Order by way of substituted service of Writ of Summons upon abovenamed Defendants, within four weeks from the date of uploading this Order. Applicant to file the affidavit of service within two weeks thereafter.

Registry is directed to issue fresh Writ of Summons, if required.
