By this Chamber Order the Applicant seeks permission to serve the citation upon Rajesh Chandrakant Joshi, son of the deceased, by way of substituted service as per schedule annexed to the Chamber Order.

Perused the schedule. The Applicant applies for publication of citation in three newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Navshakti" and "Dainik Krushival" in vernacular language i.e. Marathi widely circulated in Mumbai and Alibaugh.

Perused the affidavit in support. The Applicant has stated in the affidavit that, the citation sent for service upon Rajesh Chandrakant Joshi, through Sheriff of Bombay could not be served and the same was returned with postal remark "Left". It is further stated that, despite inquiries made with the relatives of the deceased regarding present whereabouts of the said legal heirs no details or information could be ascertained. The Applicant, therefore, requested to permit her to publish the citation in three newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Navshakti" and

"Dainik Krushival" in vernacular language i.e. Marathi widely circulated in Mumbai and Alibaugh.

Heard. Ld. Advocate for the Applicant submits that, the citation sent for service upon Rajesh Chandrakant Joshi, through Sheriff of Bombay could not be served and the same was returned with postal remark "Left". He further submits that, despite inquiries made with the relatives of the deceased regarding present whereabouts of the said legal heirs no details or information could be ascertained. He further submits that bailiff has filed affidavit of service dated 6th February 2026. He, therefore, prays that, the Chamber Order be allowed.

Perused para 9 of the Petition. For the reasons mentioned in the affidavit in support the Chamber Order is allowed. Applicant to publish the citation in three newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Navshakti" and "Dainik Krushival" in vernacular language i.e. Marathi widely circulated in Mumbai and Alibaugh, by way of substituted service of citation upon Rajesh Chandrakant Joshi, son of the deceased within four weeks from the date of uploading this Order. Applicant to file the affidavit of publication once the citation is published within two weeks thereafter.
