The debtor was declared as insolvent by order dated 6 August 1974. The petition was filed for claim of Rs.3,865/-. Thereafter, no steps were taken in accordance with the Presidency Towns Insolvency Act and Rules till today by the petitioning creditor. Looking at the amount involved and more than five decades having been passed no purpose would be served in pursuing this petition. 2.

There are no assets of the insolvent as per the Official Assignee's record.

Therefore, the Official Assignee's Report is allowed in terms of prayer clause (A).
