The Official Liquidator by the present captioned Report seeks the following direction/ order:
"(a) In view of paragraph no. (5) hereinabove, Whether this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to allow an increase of Rs.30,000/- per month and salary payment to Mr. Ashraf Motorwala may be allowed to Rs.90,000/- (Rs.60,000 to Rs.90,000/-) with effect from 1st January 2026." 2.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Official Liquidator submits that this report is necessitated on account of the fact that the employee of the Liquidator namely Mr. Ashraf Motorwala made a representation for Areeb
2/2 36-OLR-42-2026 (OS).DOC enhancement of his remunerations. Learned counsel submits that the Official Liquidator has considered the said representation and accordingly found the proposed increment justifiable and therefore in paragraph no. 5 of the report has stated as follows:
"5. That the Official Liquidator proposes that an increase of Rs.30,000/- per month may be considered and salary payment to Mr. Ashraf Motorwala may be allowed to Rs.90,000/- (Rs.60,000 to Rs.90,000/-) with effect from 1st January 2026."

Learned counsel for Official Liquidator also submits that as on date a sum of Rs. 5,79,50,608/- is lying to the credit of the Company in liquidation. He further invites my attention to the Order dated 27 th July, 2023 (Bharati Dangre J.) by which this Court had permitted the previous increment sought for by Mr. Motorwala.

Having due regard to the aforesaid facts and more particularly the Report, the Official Liquidator has after considering the said increment found the same to be proper, the Official Liquidator Report is thus allowed in terms of prayer clauses 'a' and accordingly disposed of.
